Ms. Ausman’s practice primarily involves forming and advising new businesses, selling and acquiring significant assets, and the purchase and sale of real estate. In addition to providing new businesses with legal advice, Ms. Ausman draws upon her business degree and experience in assisting these businesses with the preparation of business plans.Prior to joining SB&E, Ms. Ausman practiced law in Chicago for over ten years. She received her J.D. with Distinction in 1992 from the University of Iowa, where she was a member of the Iowa Law Review, and her M.B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1994 and B.A., with Distinction, from the University of Michigan in 1988. Ms. Ausman is a member of the Michigan, Illinois and California Bars, is a California Real Estate Broker.
