Jason D. Dabareiner

Joined SB&E as a Founding Partner in 1999 and serves as the head of the Firm’s Real Estate Transactions practice. Mr. Dabareiner routinely advises both publicly-traded and private real estate clients on a wide of complex real estate transactions, including real estate acquisitions and sales; finance; common interest subdivision and development; land use and entitlements; leasing; HOA matters; broker issues; easements; and construction contracts and disputes.

In addition to real estate, Mr. Dabareiner provides counsel to general business clients including forming and advising corporations, partnerships, LLC’s and LLP’s; buying and selling businesses and companies of all type; representing physicians and medical practice groups; advising hotel, restaurant, and other franchisees; and dealing with general business contracts & disputes.

Prior to joining SB&E, Mr. Dabareiner was a partner in the law firm of Best Best & Krieger, LLP, a 185 +/- attorney law firm located in Southern California, where he concentrated on real estate acquisition and development, and general business transactions.

Born in Burlington, Wisconsin in 1963, Jason attended Ripon College where he played varsity football before transferring to and graduating from the University of Minnesota in 1987. He received his juris doctorate with honors from the University of Wisconsin in 1989, where he was the recipient of the Wisconsin Land Title Association Scholarship. Jason and his wife moved to Palm Springs following their graduation from Wisconsin in 1989, and currently reside in Palm Desert with their three young daughters.

Jason is admitted to the State Bar of California (1989);State Bar of Wisconsin (1989); United States District Courts for Southern District of California; United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit; and United States Tax Court.
