Mr. Robinsons was born in Jackson, Michigan on March 11, 1947. He received his B.A. in English from the University of Michigan in 1969. Mr. Robinson then moved to Colorado where he received his J. D. from the University of Denver in 1977. After being admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1978 he was engaged in the practice of civil litigation with an emphasis on plaintiff’s personal injury cases. He also represented the members of the Denver Police Officers Association. Mr. Robinson served as the Municipal Court Judge for the City of Louisville, Colorado from 1984-1985.
After relocating to California in 1985, Mr. Robinson was admitted to the California bar in 1985. Since that time he has been engaged in practice of civil litigation. He worked as In-house attorney for the Travelers Insurance Group for eighteen years prior to joining Slovak Baron & Empey in 2006. While with the Travelers group he served as a Managing attorney for the San Diego, California office and was also the national litigation manager for the construction defect claim unit.
His practice now is in general civil litigation.
