Brent Clemmer

Mr. Clemmer is a senior associate in the firm's litigation group. He handles complex Business and Commercial Litigation matters including Real Estate, Contract and Construction disputes, Eminent Domain and Inverse Condemnation matters, Wrongful Termination, Discrimination (based on age, sex and race), Harassment Claims, Wage and Hour Class Actions. He has practiced in both State and Federal Courts and is currently a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association ("CELA") and the Desert Bar Association.

Mr. Clemmer was raised in Palm Desert and graduated from Indio High School in 1988. From there, he attended the University of California Santa Barbara ("UCSB") where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Economics and Sociology. During his four years at UCSB, he worked as an Own Recognizance Investigator for the Santa Barbara County Superior Court. At the age of 23, he earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. He was in the top 20% of his class and served as summer law clerk for the District Attorney's office in Santa Clara County, as well as a judicial extern for the Honorable Kathleen T. Lax of the United States Bankruptcy Court.

Following graduation, Mr. Clemmer joined the law firm of Madory, Zell and Pleiss, LLP in Orange County where he gained significant experience in the defense of Medical Malpractice, Wrongful Termination, Sexual Harassment and Employment Discrimination Claims. He later joined the firm of Haight, Brown and Bonesteel, LLP in Los Angeles where he practiced complex Business and Commercial Litigation including Professional and Product Liability defense, Employment Law matters, Real Estate and Construction disputes. He was a member of the firm's advanced Trial Skills program and has since received several favorable verdicts and arbitration awards.

Mr. Clemmer now resides in La Quinta with his wife and four children. His hobbies include golf, tennis and traveling.
